KAUPAPA
1TRIBE is tribal bass built from the ground up — low end that moves like weather, drums that remember where they came from. Made in Aotearoa, for rooms with no ceiling and floors that give.
Every track starts with a rhythm rather than a melody. Percussion first, always: the part of music that predates language and outlives it. Everything else is built around that pulse, or it doesn't get built.
The project runs on the same logic as a fire. It needs feeding, it needs air, and it is never quite the same twice. Stand close enough and you feel it before you hear it.
